On November 20-24 2023 the Young European first mobility took place in Bari. It was a lot of fun with its workshops: Pizzica (traditional dance) workshop; Minimize or supersize (comparing nutritional measures of each country lunch and calculating daily energy), Going bananas and an exciting Kitchen lab for recycling food.
The hosts, guided by Majorana students and teachers, visited the old city centre of Bari and of the street of orecchiette; Matera (UNESCO site) which represent an outstanding example of a traditional human settlement and land-use showing the evolution of a culture which has maintained a harmonious relationship with its natural environment over time; Gravina with its picturesque landscape of the the deep ravine and the old town with the ancient cathedral.
Very successfull was the visit to Polignano, with its characteristic white houses, overlooks directly on the Adriatic Sea, from the edge of a cliff. The final party was full of joy and sadness….. but the participants met soon again in Turkey…. Erasmus Projects: take part!
