The last mobility for teachers of the Erasmus+ Project “Alarm Rings for All of Us- Save Water” took place in Tarso (Turcjia) from 9 to 13 September. The prof. Isabella Latorre and Vincenzina Vitarella, together with their Turkish, Serbian, Portuguese and Bulgarian colleagues, ended the design of 20 transversal Didactic Unities about water. The lessons planned concern the physical and chemical characteristics and the biological, geographical, economic, social and historical importance of water.

During the mobility the teachers visited the Tarsus dam and the Aqueduct treatment center of the Mersin region. They olso visited amazing places full of artistical and historical beauties. The Turkish hosts organized a visit to the Pidgeon Valley in Cappadocia, to the caves and rock settlements of the Mersin province and to the city of Adana with its bazaars, ancient mosques and the monumental modern mosque.

Tarsus itself with its monuments and archaeological museum was a very interesting city to be discovered.  There was plently of culinary experiences: from Adana Kebab to milk and cheese-based desserts.

The Save Water project was a fruitful  project to be carried on and brought many interesting teaching ideas to experiment into the classrooms and share with colleagues and students.
