From the 26 September to 2 October 2021, a group of three teachers and five students of our school took part in the mobility in Berlin for the Erasmus+ project “Save our Sphere”.

The Melanchthon-Gymnasium hosted schools from Poland, Italy, Lithuania and Turkey. This experience was precious for the development of linguistic competences of our students and for their personal and cultural growth. The hosting school organized activities about climate and the environment. After the official welcome ceremony and a concert by the German school, students worked in transnational groups at the creation of the logo of the project voted by the partners during the final ceremony. They also participated in workshops on waste separation and recycling and had the possibility to visit the Futurium, an ecologic building with a museum that offers an outlook on sustainability for the future generations. The visit of the Gardens of the World with gardens from all over the world was a fantastic naturalistic experience.

We also visited the Television Tower and the Brandeburg Gate. It was a great experience!

See you in Lithuania!
