On 2 June 2023 Sajda, Delia, Federica, Diana and Francesca from the Ettore Majorana – Bari institute, together with the professors Zina Vitarella and Valeria Squeo, embarked on a new exciting experience: an Erasmus mobility which allowed them to have a cross-cultural exchange and strengthen their English language.
Once they arrived, they were warmly welcomed by the host families with whom they would share an intense and interesting week.
The day after the experience started with many activities including the visit to the city. the girls were amazed by the features of such a wonderful town: small sculptures of gnomes scattered around the city, the colorfull and fancy settings of the small shops, the beautiful skyline of a city reflected in the waters of the Oder river.
In the following days they enjoyed many interesting places, enriching themselves from a cultural point of view: the Japan Garden, Hydropolis, Ogròd Zoologiczny, Wodospad Szklarki and Lens Bank Genow Kostrzyca Lasy Panstwowe.
In this article our students want to talk about the happiness they feel by spending time experimenting and learning about new things instead of doing usual activities, in their own room and in their comfort zone. The girls want to tell to other students: ” CARPE DIEM, seize the moment, think always positively, open yourself to experiences with confidence: live life, grow, mature and above all try new things, life is beautiful. We had a fantastic experience that everyone should try. Take part to Erasmus!”
